I love working with my husband, Dr. Blacknall, and our amazing team at Oasis Dentistry. I am happiest when I see someone’s self-image improve because they took time to care for their dental health, improve their home care, and change their smile.
I’m at the office part-time, usually working behind the scenes on marketing, human resources, or vendor matters. I also organize and facilitate our team meetings and strive to ensure all parts of the practice run efficiently and smoothly: I want our patients to have stress-free visits and a large part of that means making sure the team can focus on them and their needs.
Dr. Blacknall and I have been married for more than 20 years. We have three lovely young children who keep us very busy. I love watching and supporting our kids’ activities, including soccer, basketball, and martial arts. I’m also very involved in several community organizations and am usually working on a couple of different projects or events at any given time. My favorite hobby of all time is reading and I always make time for it!
I am honored to have become a part of the Oasis Dentistry family. Dr. Blacknall and his skilled team have created a warm and compassionate, family-like atmosphere for all of our patients. I believe my career over the last 14 years in the dental field has contributed to my own overall passion to continuously raise the bar for outstanding patient experiences, all patients deserve such an experience from their chosen dental team.
Throughout my dental career this same passion has been a driving force that has allowed me to consistently deliver 5-star patient care. I am constantly seeking knowledge that will help to improve my management skills so that I am the most effective I can be at leading our dental team, while maintaining the vision of the practice. One of our best qualities as providers is the ability to listen. Taking the time to first listen not only to our patient’s needs and wants, but also the needs and suggestions of each member of our team encourages communication, productivity and creativity. As a result, the team is happy which in turn lends itself to a great patient experience.
A little about myself - I am a Michigan native - GO BLUE! I am also a “Newbie” KC Chiefs’ fan for the past 5 years. My family consists of my husband of 7 years Mark, Alanna my 13-year-old daughter and lastly our 5 fur-babies (4 Dogs, and 1 Hedgehog). We moved to Kansas when my husband took a job transfer with Ford Motor Company. I have to say Kansas has been more than good to our family, and this was truly a great move for us. When I am not at the office, I am cheering on my daughter’s volleyball team, or tirelessly trying to rid the world of animal cruelty. During my “Me” time you can usually find me at home in my chair curled up with a blanket, sipping on hot tea, and reading a good book.

I am very proud to be a part of Oasis Dentistry. I could go on for days about why I love working here, but it all boils down to one thing: the people! I love being able to work with the people in our community and give them the smiles that they deserve. I enjoy seeing people who have avoided smiling due to their lack of dental care being able to smile with pride and feel good about themselves again. It makes me feel awesome when someone comes in with pain and we are able to relieve it and fix their teeth!
When you come into the office, I’ll be the one working alongside Dr. Blacknall with your procedure. He is so precise and detail-oriented and does high-quality dentistry for everyone. I also feel proud that I can work in an environment where there are strong Christian values!
I am a single mother with three beautiful children. Dimitri is 18 and plays football for Olathe South and enlisted with the United States Marine Corp. Angela is 10 years old and loves and exceeds in her schoolwork, and Alexa is 5 years old and my little precious genius. We also have a chocolate Lab named Luna. As a family, we spend time watching football, having get-togethers with family and friends, watching movies, bowling, and going to the park and pool. We also travel to Honduras frequently to visit family.
My name is Christine, and I am a Dental Assistant at Oasis Dentistry. I am beyond blessed to have been welcomed to this team like a member of the family.
I am Dr. Frank’s “right hand man” (no seriously I am, because he’s left handed.) I absolutely love being able to work alongside Dr. Frank and the rest of the team with both kids and adults of all ages. I always knew I wanted to work in the medical field in some way as it is constantly changing and growing and I absolutely love learning and gaining new knowledge.
I know a lot of people very close to my heart who have always been scared to go to the dentist. I personally have always loved going, and it made me think, “What if I could help change some people’s points of view on their overall dental experience?” Dr. Frank and the team he has built at Oasis have more than allowed me to help so many people with that exact goal and it is so very rewarding. I love helping individuals overcome their dental anxiety and become more aware of their oral health and how it is so important to their overall health and well-being.
When I am not in the office, I love spending time with family and friends, playing with my dog Truman, drawing, crafting, riding bikes, staying active, finding new adventures and reading a great book.

Hello, I’m looking forward to meeting you! I love working one-to-one with people, helping them develop healthier smiles and improving their life and health.
I provide preventive care, including taking X-rays, gentle cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants. I also diagnose and treat periodontal disease (gum disease). A lot of our time together will focus on education. I’ll show you the best ways to keep your mouth clean and healthy between visits, talk about nutrition, and encourage good habits. Together, we’ll get you to your healthiest, most beautiful smile!
Outside of work, I enjoy practicing yoga, trying new healthy recipes, and reading. My favorite books are, “Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff … and it’s all small stuff” and “The Purpose Driven Life: What on Earth Am I Here For?”
